Short description
LNK/Autostart.A is a detection for specially crafted *.lnk, *.pif files, which exploit the Windows Shell vulnerability. This vulnerability is described in CVE-2010-2568 . The trojan is usually a part of other malware.

The Windows Shell allows local users or remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted *.lnk, *.pif shortcut file when its icon is displayed.
